Familiar power, significantly more flexibility: the weycor AR 480S is a special wheel loader model of the AR 480 with a swiveling bucket. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as gardening and landscaping, agriculture, the main construction trade as well as civil engineering and road construction.
Its service weight of 6.28 t, engine power of 55.4 kW(1) (74.3 HP) and bucket capacity of 0.8 to 1.25 m³ make the weycor AR 480S a real showpiece model in our new wheel loader generation.

Features and benefits
Powerful drive unit
A weycor wheel loader can be moved in three ways: in operating speed range from 0 to 6.5 km/h, in road speed range at up to 20 km/h or also in optional high speed at up to 40 km/h. Here, 1st and 2nd hydraulic gear as well as forward / reverse travel can be engaged under load. The switching between the forward / backward travel, speed ranges and off-position is done via the weycor joystick. The drive is operated by accelerator and separate inching pedal for best distribution of the hydraulic power for thrust and lifting forces.
Articulated joint
The combination of pendulum joint and the rear oscillating axle provides for excellent maneuverability and crosscountry mobility. Even on challenging terrain, the low center of gravity ensures exceptional stability.
Hydraulic quick-change attachment
The hydraulic quick-change attachment turns the wheel loader into an all-rounder and allows attachments to be changed in a few seconds. The proven weycor kinematics provide high breakout forces and excellent lifting heights. The upwardly tapered loader arm offers the best view of the attachment.
Inching Pedal
As the only manufacturer, our wheel loaders have a separate inching pedal as standard. This prevents the possibility of moving against the operating brake, in contrast to the combination of a brake/inch pedal. A generously proportioned inching range facilitates precise distribution of shearing and lifting forces. The result: less wear and lower fuel consumption.

Spring-loaded brake
The spring-loaded or negative brake in weycor wheel loaders is a closed brake system (oil bath multipledisc brake) which holds the wheel loader securely in position on a slope when the brake or inch function is activated and automatically locks all four wheels when the engine is at a standstill. The multiple-disc brake runs in the oil bath and is particularly low-maintenance and low-wearing as a result.
